commissioning. TSAV’s extensive background with concert sound and lighting

The
demand for AV is a significant cultural trend. Visual communication is seen
by business, education, entertainment, and almost all segments of the economy
as beneficial if not vital. The change is as significant as the invention
of moveable type which made the reading of the written word the prime method
of communication. The visual presentation of information is challenging that
supremacy and the AV industry is spearheading this revolution.
TSAV’s
involvement in several Board of Regents projects is helping to standardize
technology plans for higher education throughout the Southeast. Current projects,
including assisting Macon State College with multi-campus technology plans,
are paving the way for educators and students alike to utilize technologies
as transparently as possible while simultaneously reducing ongoing maintenance
and acute support requirements.

of the Meyer rig is now complete and Grammy award winning artists are already

TSAV
has been awarded a contract with Clemson University installing Video Conferencing
systems in the Edisto Research and Education Center. At the core of this system
will be the Polycom VSX8000 Video Conferencing Codec. The series has everything
needed for essential video conferencing and provides for future growth and
investment protection. The system upgrade will be controlled via a Crestron
Control System. This upgrade of the systems will provide a very easy to use
and fluid video conferencing solution for the faculty, staff, and students
of the Edisto facility as well as video conferencing participants at other
Clemson University locations. TSAV is excited to be involved in this project!"
TSAV
was awarded the contract to provide multiple presentation A/V systems throghout
the new Piedmont Hospital South Tower. The systems were designed by EDI and
consist of High Definition Plasma Displays, and a host of LCD projectors,
screens, and integrated Audio systems. TSAV is looking forward to working
with this prestigious Atlanta institution of medicine.!
In the spring of 2006 Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will have another important designation, the tallest Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in North America and the second tallest in the world. TSAV is providing AV systems for this very exciting project and we’re looking forward to seeing our large format touchpanels and collaboration systems in place!!

The
CTS designation is for AV professionals who have demonstrated knowledge and
comprehension of the science and technology used in communications including
audio, video, display and systems. Technicians, engineers, designers, salespeople,
customer service personnel, managers and executives are eligible for taking
the general certification testing. ICIA’s general certification is recognized
by the National Certification Commission..
TSAV
has been selected to provide the installation of Production Audio/Video Systems
at the Church of the Nations in Athens, Georgia.
TSAV
will provide various design-build services for AV components of exhibits as
well as a full production audio system for the Cherry Street Playhouse. The
system’s digital signal processing engine will allow for simple touchpanel
control of inputs, outputs, and playback. The systems control interface also
will allow for lighting control at the same interface.
TSAV will implement a solution based on VBrick's Media Control Server, MPEG Encoders and Decoders, and EtherneTV system including video on demand server, "store and forward" DVR applications, 1 Terrabyte Storage Server with metadata search capabilities, and outboard tuner/playback device control and scheduling.
TSAV
staff recently completed an extensive seminar with EAW,a worldwide technological
and market leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance, professional
loudspeaker design.
The
system includes an alternating left/right loudspeaker array configuration
and digital mixing engine. The system also includes an extensive array of
performance enhancing options designed to meet the needs of the facility for
years to come. “Thanks to Oconee County for giving us the opportunity to serve
you.”
Faced
with a 12 hour window in which to install a replacement loudspeaker cluster,
amplifier configuration, and test and balance the system at Master’s Hall,
TSAV rose to the occasion. The window of opportunity sandwiched between a
seminar event and the assembly of the Georgia State Legislators, there was
no room for error. TSAV’s rigging staff overcame obstacles related to the
existing loudspeaker arrays and installed an impressive EAW array, drastically
improving the performance of the venue’s sound reinforcement system. The project
was completed in time and with great success. Congratulations to Project Team
Tom, Doug, and Matt!
TSAV
has just completed the installation of complete AV systems for The Church
of the Apostles in Atlanta, Georgia. This chapel addition includes fully integrated
audio, broadcast video, and automated control systems. This very high-profile
project brings together TSAV, Cleveland Electric, and our old friends at Van
Winkle Construction and an aggressive project timeline. The project, which
incorporates extensive rigging, production audio, large format video, integrated
control, and broadcast video involves the design elements developed by Acoustic
Dimensions and the technical staff at the Church. Thanks to Frank and the
project management team for bringing us so far in so little time.
TSAV
recently finished an installation at the newly constructed Center for Learning
and Leadership in downtown Atlanta. The new building is located in the downtown
Atlanta government district, and replaces the previous headquarters, housed
in a 77-year-old former shoe factory on Pryor Street, immediately west of
the new complex. This project includes advanced presentation systems and communication
tools for the administrative and support center of the APS system."
TSAV
kicks off project at local Athens church, Tuckston United Methodist. The scope
includes a large format audio and video system in the sanctuary and fellowship
hall. TSAV is excited to be working in their hometown to fulffill the audiovisual
needs of Tuckston United Methodist Church.
TSAV’s
Jake Hale has completed on-site certification for configuration and programming
of V-Brick Video on demand systems. As a V-Brick partner TSAV provides for
archival and distribution of audio and video content via Ethernet. In addition,
field configurable boxes allow for archival of content at a given location
and retrieval from anywhere in the world. V-Brick solutions are now in place
at Board of Regents projects such as TSAV’s recent installations at
Augusta State University as well as installations at the Naval Air Warfare
Center, the California Department of Transportation, and even desktop video
systems with our troops in Iraq.
V-Brick’s all digital and fully standards-based EtherneTV offers DVD-quality MPEG-2 images but can also handle MPEG-1 and MPEG-4 standards in order to transmit networked video over low-bandwidth sections of your network.
