Auburn, Al – TSAV installed an arena bowl audio system that has a total of 54 two-way professional speaker cabinets permanently rigged to the trusses and catwalk of the new Auburn University Arena. There are an additional 48 auxiliary fill speakers under the upper balcony. The amp racks on the catwalk platform are set up for a continuous total output power of 38,800 watts in the arena bowl. That’s the actual usable power rating. The arena bowl audio system is digitally interconnected with the Scholarship Lounge, Courtside Club, Upper Suites and team areas to form one unified control system. Audio can be cross routed to bring game audio from the arena to the other areas. The audio digital control system will be password protected to allow various levels of authority and control, from beginner to advanced. There are integrated audio systems built into virtually every area of the building.
The Arena has an integrated cabling system to support any broadcast production company to back up their truck, roll in their cameras and equipment, and broadcast in HD without running any cable. Facilities with this capability end up on TV much more frequently!

Athens, Ga – TSAV installed a NEXO GEO S12 line array system as the primary audio system for performance events in The Grand Hall of the Classic Center. The Grand Hall can seat 3,175, and for the very largest crowds, the system may be augmented with near fills for the area directly in front of the stage.
“Until now, the only installed sound in the room was an overhead 70v system for background music and paging,” states TSAV’s Steve Gore. “Previously, the Center had to use a crew to rig a system whenever a live performance event took place, which limited the practical and economical use of the space. Because The Grand Hall is reconfigured weekly for a variety of events including concerts, trade shows, and church services, it’s not possible to permanently place ground stacked speaker arrays. The room is also acoustically challenging with a high ceiling main hall and a low balcony in the rear with glass enclosed meeting rooms on top.”
“Using NEXO GeoSoft 2 software to model the room and calculate the speaker configuration and placement, and the NXAMP 4×1 controllers to steer the cardioid sub pattern down to the floor, we were able to complete a challenging installation.”
