New College of Pharmacy School at the University of Georgia
TSAV's AV systems going in the new Pharmacy School include classroom learning systems, a video conferencing room TSAV's Pharmacy Skills Lab will give students hands on experience in the lab without the instructor looking over their shoulder. All lab procedures will be recorded with audio and video and then put online for student and instructor review. Check back in for more updates as the Pharmacy School project gets underway.
TSAV has installed SMART Board and SMART Technology Learning Systems all over the state of Georgia. In Athens Clarke County, TSAV has installed over 1100 SMART Boards in classrooms all over the school district. The ACC School District has awarded TSAV ongoing work outfitting new schools being built this summer. In addition to the traditional SMART Board classroom system TSAV has implemented in ACC schools, the school district will soon be outfitted with media encoding carts. The media carts can be moved easily from classroom to classroom and capture video and audio of class lessons or school events. The content captured is put online for parents and students to use at home.
TSAV is helping the Athens Clarke County School District move into the 21st century with well designed solutions for their students and teachers.
KAUST- King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
TSAV will be traveling to Saudi Arabia to as a design consultant and oversee the integration of learning presentation systems, and distance learning systems in over 100 classrooms and conference rooms on the KAUST campus.
KAUST - King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is an international, graduate research university dedicated to inspiring a new age of scientific achievement in Saudi Arabia, the region and the world.
The paint is still drying on the Tate II Student Center at UGA and TSAV is busy doing walk through and final systems testing. TSAV implemented a number of presentation systems in meeting rooms that will be used by university organizations and student groups, as well as a large scale AV presentation system in the Reception Hall. The new multi-million dollar facility is schedule to open in fall of 2009.
TSAV Donates Time and Resources For The Boys and Girl's Club of Athens
Everyone here at TSAV feels that it is important to give back to the community where we work and live. TSAV designed and installed a fully loaded recording studio for the children at the Boys and Girl's club. The studio is outfitted with all the equipment of a real studio including instruments! Now the children at the Boys and Girl's Club can start making their own music!
Dekalb Performing Arts Center Opens It's Doors To The Public With a TSAV Sound System.
The beautiful Dekalb Performing Arts Center opened its doors to the public on February 19th with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by local civic leaders and community organizers. The 500 seat, state of the art theater will host performances and concerts of all kinds. TSAV designed and installed a sound system in the main hall that matches the beauty and grandeur of the building, and will provide unparalleled sound. For the 400 seat Black Box theater TSAV implemented a four point speaker system for optimal sound coverage in the smaller performance space. A projector and white screen system allows for video content support. We at TSAV are extremely proud to be a part of the Dekalb Performing Arts Center.
TSAV is pleased to announce that we won the A/V contract for the Auburn University Arena. Construction on the new arena began on February 23rd of 2009 with an expected date of completion sometime around mid-April of 2010. We are very excited to be a part of this project. TSAV has once again set the standard for innovative classroom solutions with the introduction of the Casscade Media Encoder (CME). Usage of the CME in the Bioscience department at the University of Georgia shows steadily increased use by students since its introduction on campus a few months earlier. Since the beginning of the semester, the bioscience directory (including all files published by the bioscience CME) has received 21,123 hits! The average hits per published file is about 2000. The average time spent viewing these files is 5-10 minutes at a time, often where the same user views a content module several times in a given day. The Casscade Media Encoder is changing the way students learn outside of class, allowing them to access class files and discussions online 24/7!

Its not everyday five former secretaries of state visit the University of Georgia, but on March 27, former secretaries of state Henry Kissinger, James Baker III, Warren Christopher, Madeleine Albright, and Colin Powell, met in Athens, Georgia to have a roundtable discussion on issues facing the country. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has another important designation, the tallest Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in North America and the second tallest in the world. TSAV provided sophisticated AV systems for this very exciting project and integrated large format touchpanels and collaboration systems into the ATC control Center, keeping one of the busiest airports in the world running on schedule!!
